The facilities planning was based on the jobo system

It is surprised that the vestibule leading to the outside of ancient city Kyoto is the modernistic design covered with glass and metal, but in fact, the facilities planning was based on the jobo system (a series of avenues running at right angles to each other marked out the system) featuring of the city in Heiankyo. If you go to the roof, the city area in Kyoto can be overlooked. Contrast of overlooking Kyoto Tower of artlessness from this modernistic space is also interesting.

The souvenirs of the well-established well-known store and the basic gourmet of Kyoto are gathered, so it is also the best for spending the waiting time of the Shinkansen (bullet train of Japan), etc. Moreover, since there is also a tourist information center, it is a spot convenient to collect information before a trip.
