“Ohori Park”, one of Fukuoka’s premier tourist attractions, is one of the most famous water parks in Japan. At the site of 12,000 square meters, black pine, oak, and Kusunoki, Kaede, Asebian, etc., are planted, and you can enjoy the different seasons such as summer dark green and autumn leaves. At “Ohori Park Noh Theater” you can enjoy Japanese traditional arts. The building area is 2,478 square meters, with a total audience seating capacity of 590 seats and a stage of 5.64 meters square; various performances, including Noh and Kyogen, are performed.
Many trees are planted in Ohori Park, and you can touch rich nature throughout the year. You can learn about plants because tags with tree names are attached to trunks. In the surroundings of the “wild bird forest,” there are lush greens and camphor trees, and you can enjoy singing birds in rich greenery.
