From spring to early summer when the fresh breeze blows, the ground pink blooms like a carpet across the hills of a vast park, and a great panoramic view spreads out.
The “Higashimokoto Shibazakura Festival” is held every year from May to early June, when the ground pink blooms, and you can enjoy a tour car, go-cart, fishing pond, day hot springs, and lively stage events on weekends. Why do not you spend a fairy tale surrounded by the scent of flowers in the magnificent and beautiful Higasimokoto Shibazakura Park, surrounded by turf cherry blossoms as far as you can see?
Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park is located in Higashimokoto, Ohzora Town, about 25 kilometers from Memanbetsu Airport and about 30 minutes by car. The road to the park is also known as the “Shibazakura Hanakaido”. The field of view suddenly spreads out from the road along the fresh green mountain, and when you can see the hills dyed in bright pink, you will arrive at the park.
